Being an innkeeper is my true calling. I like meeting different people and cultures. I take the time to chat with our guests.

My parents bought our hotel in Vipiteno in 1979. I, Egon, have been in the family business since my childhood and am familiar with all the processes.

In 2008 I took over the hotel and renovated it. In 2011, the hotel was upgraded once again through further renovations.

Together with my wife Anita, I take care of our guests, whereby I am mainly in the office while she manages the restaurant and service area. She is actively supported by our daughter Lisa.

We are particularly grateful for the many years of loyal help from my father Pepi, who is responsible for the exterior design, and my mother Rosa, our pearl in the laundry department.

Overall, we feel like a real family business with South Tyrolean roots. We have been in the hospitality industry for decades and strive to serve every guest in a friendly and professional manner. If you wish to experience South Tyrol in its purest form, then we warmly welcome you to our 3-star hotel with a family flair.

The head chef of our restaurant welcomes you to his creative gourmet kitchen and seduces you with excellent food and fine wines from South Tyrol and Italy. The excellent cuisine offers local, Italian as well as international specialties accompanied by a selection of matching wines. Of course, we are also happy to serve a fresh beer with a hearty snack. A holiday in Vipiteno / Monte Cavallo offers many interesting opportunities for a relaxing as well as varied leisure activities in the mountains. In fact, in the Fugger City and its side valleys, there are plenty of opportunities for excursions, relaxation, and culture. The Hotel Klammer offers an ideal starting point and will definitely make it onto your personal top-10 list.

In the summer, you may choose the bicycle trail or footpath directly adjacent to our 3-star hotel, which then takes you into our charming mountain world. Most of the time, the weather is so good and the air so clear that you will enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view of the Alps on the high-altitude trails, making the day an unforgettable hiking experience. You may also enjoy tennis, golf, horseback riding, mountain biking, paragliding, or visiting a climbing garden here in Vipiteno and the surrounding area.

In the winter, there is the Monte Cavallo ski area with its many slopes, which may also be reached quickly from our 3-star hotel. Skiing and snowboarding are of course the classic activities! But snowshoe hikers, cross-country skiers or tobogganing enthusiasts with children will also enjoy nature or visits to quaint lodges.

The Balneum indoor and outdoor pool, only a few minutes’ walk away, also offers a sauna and spa facilities. Relax and unwind for body, mind, and soul!!

Vipiteno, the ancient Fugger City, can be reached within a few minutes from the hotel: The city has so much to offer, from a visit to a museum to a shopping spree. Are you interested in medieval castles and palaces? Then this is your place. Besides the Reifenstein Castle, near Vipiteno, you may also visit the Baroque Wolfsthurn Castle in Mareta. Special attractions are the MMM (MessnerMountainMuseen) and of course the Ötzi Museum. There, you may admire the glacier mummy, whose many secrets revolving around its mysterious death have not yet been solved.
